DAY 1: ARRIVE TO LIMA
Arrival in the city of Lima, welcome by our staff and transfer to the respective accommodation. Overnight in Lima.
DAY 2: LIMA CITY TOUR
Breakfast. We will pick you up to start our guided tour, featuring the typical elements of the colonial era, such as the Plaza de Armas, the Government Palace, the Cathedral Basilica, the Archiepiscopal Palace, the Municipality of Lima, Desamparados Station, and the classic mansions from the Viceroyal era with their Moorish-style balconies. We will also visit Saint Francis Church to enjoy a panoramic view of this beautiful structure. After that, we will leave Old Lima to visit San Isidro and Miraflores, stopping at El Mirador or Parque del Amor to contrast the old Lima with the modern one, then we will visit one of the most representative markets of the city to know the variety of products that exist in the country, also we´ll have the opportunity to taste some of them. (optional buffet lunch) Overnight in Lima.
After the tour, take the opportunity to enjoy the gastronomy of the city of Lima with dishes based on fish and seafood..
DAY 3: LIMA / AREQUIPA DAY OFF
Breakfast and transfer to the Lima airport for your trip to Arequipa, arrival and transfer to the respective accommodation. Enjoy the beautiful white city and its pedestrian streets. Overnight in Arequipa.
DAY 4: ASREQUIPA / COLCA SIBAYO VILLAGE
Breakfast. Departure from Arequipa towards the Colca Valley and Canyon, towards Pampa Cañahuas (Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve), home of vicuñas. There will be a stop in Patahuasi to drink coca tea, which is essential to acclimatize and thus avoid altitude sickness (soroche). We will make a stop in Toccrapampa to appreciate the wetlands.
Later we will make a stop at Patapampa Mirador de los Volcanes (4800 meters above sea level), the highest point of the entire tour, where we will be able to appreciate a large part of the Western Cordillera. Then we will begin the descent for approximately 45 minutes. To get to the town of Chivay and in another 45 minutes approximately, we will be arriving at our destination; the town of Sibayo, better known as RUMILLACTA (stone town), traditional for its stone constructions; Upon our arrival, the residents will give us a warm welcome and then we will settle into the experiential houses and later we will have the opportunity to share a delicious lunch. To learn more about their experiences, we will get to know their main attractions, we will visit their Plaza, their river where there is also a typical Hanging Bridge in its construction that you can cross. Optional visits to the towns of Callalli and Tuti. We will return to our house. We will have dinner in our experiential house. Rest in the Village.
DAY 5: DAY IN SIBAYO VILLAGE
Very early after breakfast we will go to the residents ranch where they raise the main camelids such as the alpaca and the llama to learn more about their breeding. Every month different activities are carried out such as mating and shearing, among others. We will be able to participate in the tasks that they normally carry out most of the time and thus learn more about the daily life of the residents. At night return to Sibayo, dinner and overnight.
DAY 6: SIBAYO / CONDOR VIEW POINT / AREQUIPA
Breakfast very early and then we head in a period of 1 hour and 30 minutes to the Mirador de la Cruz del Cóndor; observation point of the Colca Canyon and if it is possible to appreciate the flight of the Condor, a majestic bird that inhabits this area; We will stay at the place for approximately 45 minutes so that you can take photos and appreciate nature. Then we will begin the return journey to the town of Chivay, making a stop at the viewpoints so that you can appreciate the terraces of the Valley. We will arrive towards the town of Maca where you can appreciate its Church, which is very traditional. In the place you can find crafts for sale and you can also taste the typical drink of the area “Colca Sour”.
We will enjoy a relaxing bath in the hot springs (optional). Finally we will enjoy a delicious lunch (optional), and then begin our journey back to the city of Arequipa. Overnight in Arequipa.
DAY 7: AREQUIPA / CUSCO CITY
Breakfast, free morning to rest or do some shopping, in the afternoon transfer to the Arequipa airport to leave for the city of Cusco, arrival and transfer to the respective accommodation. Overnight in Cusco.

DAY 8: TOUR TO UMASBAMBA AND MORAY
Breakfast, we will travel to the sacred valley by the alternate route until we reach Chinchero.
We will head towards the Piuray lagoon, very close to the town of Chinchero famous for its weaving, and we will take a paved path along the edge of the lagoon to the community of Taucca, a very typical Andean town where its adobe buildings and tile roofs stand out.
Upon arrival we will be received by the community members with a delicious muña mate as a welcome and that will help us better adapt to the altitude. The welcome will be with the Huaylaca dance and quechua songs.
In the textile workshop we will learn each step of the Andean weaving process, from obtaining alpaca or sheep wool, wool selection, natural dyes, natural dyeing, spinning and making Andean garments such as: Ponchos, llicllas, backpacks, scarves, headbands, bags, etc.
We will also be able to appreciate the techniques used in AGRICULTURE from working the land, planting and observing the different products that are produced (corn, potatoes, beans, wheat, barley, etc.).
At this point we are going to enjoy a delicious pachamanca, an ancient ancestral technique of cooking food underground.
Then we will visit the archaeological center of Moray, it is located about 7 km southwest of Maras and 53 km from Cusco with an altitude of 3,385 meters above sea level; It is a unique archaeological group of its kind in the region. These are gigantic natural holes that were used by the Incas who built terraces or agricultural platforms with their respective irrigation canals, thus a prototype of a greenhouse. The structures found here are Inca, it is also estimated that the bottom is on a natural rock formation that facilitates filtration into the interior of the earth, which is why flooding does not occur in the rainy season. DAY 9: DEPARTURE TO MACHU PICCHU PUEBLO
Breakfast, free morning to enjoy the town of Ollantaytmabo or visit the Ollantaytambo Fortress, and in the afternoon take the train to Machu Picchu. Arrival and transfer to the respective accommodation. Overnight at Machu Picchu Pueblo.
DAY 10: MACHU PICCHU CITADEL / CUSCO
This day the guide will come pick us up at the hotel to take us to the bus station and ascend 400 m high, along a zigzagging path, for 20 minutes, until we reach the incredible world wonder "The Sanctuary of Machu Picchu", known as " "The Lost City of the Incas."
Upon arriving at the citadel of Machu Picchu we will visit the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Sundial, the royal quarters, the temple of the Three Windows and the cemeteries, for approximately more than two hours. Return to the town of Machu Picchu and at the indicated time departure by train to Ollantaytambo and connection by bus to Cusco, arrival in Cusco and transfer to the Hotel. Overnight in Cusco.
DAY 11: CUSCO / PTO MALDONADO - DAY 01
Desayuno, transfer to the Cusco airport to depart to Pto. Maldonado. Wellcome of our arriving and transfer to the lodge office in the city. Our adventure in the jungle begins by taking the boat heading to Ñape Lodge. We will navigate the Tambopata River for 30 minutes and become familiar with the landscapes that the Amazon rainforest has to show us. Tambopata is the main river in the Madre de Dios region and runs through the Tambopata National Reserve. All along this river is located the native community Ese Eja de Infierno who are the owners of Ñape Lodge. Tambopata is known for its lakes and clay licks, for its biodiversity and for being home to felines such as the jaguar and puma, birds such as parrots and macaws, the rodent capybara, amphibians and a diversity of reptiles. The Tambopata River is a meeting place and a source of life for the species that inhabit this ecosystem. LUNCH
CANOPY TOWER
We will hike through the rainforest for about 30 minutes among the trails that surround our lodge until we reach the Canopy Tower. This tower has a height of 37m and will lead us to the top of the trees to admire the forest from the perspective of the birds and monkeys that inhabit it. From the top you get spectacular views of the vast extensions of the standing forest, cut by the Tambopata River that serpentines through the middle. With some luck we will see toucans, parrots or macaws flying against the horizon, or flocks of mixed species perching high above.
NIGHT WALK
It is said that in the jungle, night is the end of the day for many species, but it is the beginning of the day for many others. We will have the opportunity to experience an exciting night walk, where we will be able to observe a great diversity of insects, moths, amphibians and reptiles. It is time to turn on our flashlights and pay attention to our senses because in the jungle, everything is alive. DINNER. Overnight on the lodge.
DAY 12: TAMBOPATA LODGE - DÍA 02
LAKE TRES CHIMBADAS
Early in the morning, we will board a boat upriver and enjoy the fresh air of the Amazonian dawn, until we get to the starting point of a hike through a secondary forest, which will take us to the serpent-shaped lake, better known as Tres Chimbadas. Here we will board a rowing catamaran and prepare our senses to enjoy what this beautiful place has to offer. We will be able to see monkeys, birds, black caimans, and the famous river otter that dominates this habitat.
PARROT CLAY LICK
The clay licks or Collpas are large walls of clay rich in minerals and especially in sodium. They are found along the rivers. This is the favorite place of many parrots and macaws of Tambopata, who come every morning for their supply of minerals and to socialize. We will navigate by boat to a parrot clay lick, make ourselves comfortable and wait patiently for the show. This is a great opportunity to appreciate these beautiful birds, their variety of color and behavior.
LEARN ABOUT THE TECHNIQUES OF CASERÍA (BOW AND ARROW SHOOTING)
In the afternoon we head to the Hunter’s Hut. Our guide will give us an overview and teach us some of the traditional hunting techniques practiced by the Ese Eja natives. Using the bow and a variety of arrows, each one designed for different purposes (large animals, small animals and fish), we will learn about the importance and accuracy of each detail in the elaboration and use of these tools. At the end, we will make a fun but safe archery practice with bow and arrow towards a bull and we will test our aim.
LUNCH
ETHNOBOTANICAL GARDEN
The Ñape Ethnobotanical Garden is a community organization responsible for keeping alive and disseminating ancestral knowledge about the power of plants and their healing effects. In this place, natural medicines are produced from the plants of the rainforest. We will take a walk along a trail where we can find some of the most important plants such as the chacruna and ayahuasca in their natural habitat and we can taste a natural medicine made from the bark and leaves of the trees macerated in sugar cane alcohol. We will learn about the history of the Ñape Garden and the healers and shamans responsible for its maintenance.
BÚSQUEDA DE CAIMANES
At dusk, we will embark on an adventure, riding the boat and guided by its powerful light, in search of the nocturnal life of the rainforest. Here, the nocturnal creatures adapted to the dark are very active and come out to hunt along the Tambopata River. Caimans wait patiently for their prey along the riverbanks. We may also see capybaras or deer, as they are animals that usually hang around the river, and maybe with a lot of luck, a puma or jaguar. DINNER. Overnight in the lodge.
DAY 13: TAMBOPATA LODGE - DAY 03
BREAKFAST
MAMMAL CLAY LICK
Here we hike for two hours through forest trails until we reach the mammal clay lick. This place attracts visitors such as birds, deer, monkeys, and other mammals that come to feed and get the minerals they need for their nutritional balance.
VISIT TO LOCAL FARM
We will navigate the Tambopata river for about 15 minutes until we reach a local farm that belongs to one of the families of the Ese Eja de Infierno community. Once there we will learn about the different fruits and vegetables that this diverse garden provides us, we will discover the uses and popular recipes for its consumption and the importance of this great pantry, the main supplier of goods and food for our lodge. We will find varieties of lemon, mango, papaya, tangerine, sugar cane, cassava, banana, cocoa, coconut, arazá, sapote among many others. DINNER. Overnight in he lodge.
DAY 14: TAMBOPATA LODGE - DEPARTURE - DAY 04

After breakfast, we will say goodbye to the jungle and head back to the city of Puerto Maldonado. Before heading to the airport, we will stop by our office to pick up our bags or any additional assistance you may need. This day marks the end of your exciting jungle adventure, taking with you unforgettable memories and enriching experiences. Arriving to Lima and conexion to your internacional flight.
