DAY 1: ARRIVING TO LIMA
Upon your arrival, reception at the airport by a company´s personal, who will welcome and transfer you to the selected accommodation. Overnight in Lima.
DAY 2: CITY TOUR – TRUJILLO (B)
After breakfast, visit of the city of Lima, where we take a guided tour of the most important and characteristic places of the city, with their typical characteristics of the colonial era, such as the Main Square, the Government Palace, the Cathedral Basilica, the Archbishop's Palace, the Municipality of Lima, the Station of Desamparados, and old streets and the classic mansions of the Viceregal period and Moorish-style balconies; Then we do a panoramic tour of the Church of San Francisco. Leaving old Lima, we enter San Isidro and Miraflores, up to the Love Park, making a contrast between old and modern Lima. Transfer to Lima´s airport to Trujillo. Arriving to Trujillo and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Trujillo.
DAY 3: TRUJILLO CHAN CHAN – HUACA DEL SOL Y LA LUNA - HUANCHACO (D)
Breakfast, the tour begins with a visit to the CHAN CHAN archaeological complex, one of the nine best-preserved citadels of this culture, its walls are decorated with high-relief friezes, we will also visit the Huaca del Sol, according to oral tradition, it was built in 3 days using 250,000 men and 70 million adobe bricks. The Huaca de la Luna is made up of overlapping temples according to the different stages of Mochica power, on some of its walls you can see beautiful polychrome murals. Finishing the visit in the fishing cove of Huanchaco, a traditional fishing port where you can appreciate the caballitos de totora (old Mochica boats). Overnight in Trujillo.
DAY 4: TRUJILLO – SEÑORA DE CAO - CHICLAYO (B)
Breakfast. We will be leaving towards the Chicama Valley, and then we will go to the El Brujo Archaeological Complex, Huaca Cao Viejo, site of the archaeological excavations that have revealed large polychrome murals of the Moche culture from the 1st to 6th centuries AD. and where the discovery of the Lady of Cao took place. The mummified body of this Moche ruler was discovered in 2005 in the Huaca Cao, in a ceremonial precinct that was expressly built by the ancient settlers to house the burial of this Moche royalty. Return to Trujillo and transfer to the bus terminal for the departure to Chiclayo (03 hours approx. of travel). Overnight in Chiclayo.
DAY 5: CHICLAYO WITCH MARKET - PIRÁMIDES DE TÚCUME AND TUMBAS REALES MUSEUM / CHACHAPOYAS (B)
Breakfast and then departure to Chiclayo (03 hrs approx). Reception and visit to the Tucume Pyramids Archaeological Complex, a valley that houses 26 adobe pyramids that bear witness to the most exceptional time of the Lambayeque culture.
Later we will move to Lambayeque to visit the new and modern TUMBES REALES DE SIPAN MUSEUM, it has 10 exhibition rooms throughout its route, where you can appreciate the treasures of the Lord of Sipán and a large collection of objects of gold, silver and copper, as well as the treasures of the Lord of Sipan. Return to the Hotel. Then transfer to the bus station to Chachapoyas. Overnight in the bus.
DAY 6: CHACHAPOYAS - KUELAP (B, L)
After breakfast we will visit Kuelap, the imposing pre-Inca fortress located at the top of the mountain (at 3080 masl). Although Kuelap was discovered 60 years before the citadel of Machu Picchu, it is not as well known in the world. However, recent archaeological discoveries in nearby areas related to Kuelap and its history have captured the attention of archaeologists, international magazines and film companies. Box Lunch. DAY 7: CHACHAPOYAS - GOCTA WATERFALLS (B, L)
After breakfast, we leave in our mobility towards the town of Coca chimba, on the way, we will observe the Caclic sarcophagi, located in inaccessible rocky cliffs. We will arrive at the Town of Coca Chimba, a picturesque mountain town, from there we will start the walk of more or less 2.5 to 3 hours. Along the way, we will observe sugarcane fields, the typical mill, to finally enter a forest where we will appreciate the flora and fauna of the place, with the constant view of the Gocta Waterfall. Sighting of the waterfall, taking pictures, etc., return to the town of Coca chimba; In the late afternoon, return to the city of Chachapoyas. Overnight in Chachapoyas.
DAY 8: CHACHAPOYAS – SARCOFAGOS DE KARAJIA (B, L)
After breakfast, visit the Sarcophagi of Karajía, a place that belonged to the Chípuric Archaeological Complex within the Chacha Culture (1100 to 1300 AD). It is characterized by being a unique form of burial in the world, they appear in small groups formed from 04 to 08 statues, crowning the upper part of the head, no less important and spectacular are the funerary sites of the Caverns of Quiocta, the sarcophagi of San Antonio and Town of the Dead. At night departure to the bus terminal for your return to Chiclayo. Overnight on the bus. (Departure at 7:30 p.m. approx.)
DAY 9: CHICLAYO / LIMA (B)
Arrival in Chiclayo and transfer to the hotel to leave your bags until the afternoon (this day you dont have room), at night transfer to the airport for the trip to Lima. Overnight in Lima.
Chiclayo has a very varied gastronomy so this day you can take advantage of it to visit the "Fiesta Restaurant" one of the best.
DAY 10: LIMA – PARACAS (B)
Breakfast, transfer to the bus terminal in the afternoon at 1:30 p.m. towards Paracas. Arrival in Paracas and transfer to accommodation. Overnight in Paracas.
DAY 11: PARACAS - ISLAS BALLESTAS Y RESERVA DE PARACAS / NAZCA (D)
After breakfast, we will go to the boarding dock to depart in comfortable gliders to the Ballestas Islands, we will be able to appreciate on our journey the famous Paracas Candelabra (beginning of the Nazca Lines). Arrival at the Ballestas Islands, where we will appreciate its impressive marine fauna, large colonies of guano birds such as guanay, booby, tendril, etc. At the indicated time we will board our mobility to start the excursion to the impressive Coastal Desert of the Paracas National Reserve, we will visit the Interpretation Center of the reserve, which offers interesting paintings and photos showing all the life and fauna that exists in it. Then we will have the transfer to the bus station for the transfer to Nazca, arrival and transfer to their respective accommodation. (Departure at 5:00 p.m. / Arrival at 7:00 p.m.) Overnight in Nazca.
DAY 12: NAZCA / NAZCA LINES / AREQUIPA (B)
After breakfast we will go to the aerodrome to take the flight over Nazca Lines by plane, for approx. 1 hour and a half). Both its creation and its purpose remain a mystery, and according to Dr. Maria Reiche, who dedicated a large part of her life to the study of these lines, it is the largest astronomical calendar in the world.We will fly over the mysterious strokes made on sand, covering an area of ??350 km2, these represent figures of various animals and plants such as the spider, the monkey, the dog, the lizard, the hummingbird, the condor, etc.
In the afternoon or evening transfer to the bus terminal heading to the city of Arequipa on a journey of approximately 08 hours. Overnight in Arequipa.
DAY 13: AREQUIPA CITY TOUR (B)
Breakfast, in the morning accompanied by an official guide, we will visit the historical center of the city of Arequipa on foot, appreciating beautiful samples of the architecture of Arequipa.
During this tour we will show you all its charms of the main streets and colonial buildings: the main square, the cathedral, Jesuit Company Church, Santa Catalina convent – which is a city within the city – built on the XVI century and closed to the public for almost 400 years until 1970, and it’s still home of a few nuns. The tour continues to the church and square of San Francisco, we will also visit the San Camilo Market, which is considered a Historical Monumental Heritage of Public Civil Architecture of Arequipa. The current building was inaugurated in 1938 and was declared a Historical Monumental Heritage in 1987.Overnight in Arequipa.
DAY 14: AREQUIPA - COLCA VALLEY (B)
Departure to Colca Valley located over 3,500 meters above the sea. On the way you will cross the Aguada Blanca and Salinas National Reserve, with the highest presence of Andean flora and fauna. The trip continues to Tojra wetlands. Later you will cross Patapampa which is a land located over 4,800 meters above the sea where you will find the “Mirador de los Andes”, a strategic point to see the cordillera Chila with great volcanoes: Mismi, Chucura, Huaracante, and far away the Ubinas, Misti, Chachani, Ampato, Sabancaya and Hualca Hualca.
In the afternoon, as an option we can visit the thermal baths of "La Calera" which are at a temperature of 40º and our waters have medicinal properties. To continue you will arrive at Chivay town and you will be transferred to the selected accommodation. Overnight in Colca.
DAY 15: COLCA VALLEY – CONDOR CRUISE POINT / PUNO (B)
After breakfast, starting our tour on the left bank of the Colca river, visiting beautiful typical towns such as Yanque and Maca, colonial churches and we will have contact with the friendly people who still wear their typical costumes embroidered by themselves. Then you will departure to “La Cruz del Condor”, the best spot to observe the deepness of the canyon (3,400 meters deep, 124 miles length) and also see the majestic fly of the condor. There is not an exactly time to see them, it can be at any time. In the afternoon, transfer to Puno, capital of the dance and transfer to the respective accommodation (06 hours long). Overnight in Puno.
DAY 16: PUNO UROS ISLAND AND CHULLPAS OF SILLUSTANI (B)
After breakfast, you will take a two-hour excursion across the Titicaca Lake until the unique floating island of Uros. The ancient habitants of this lake, known as the "Water Tribe", have built their own "island" by adding periodically new layers of “Totora” a type of a marram-grass very typical from this place, their houses and boats are made of this material too. We return to Puno to have lunch on our own and then in the afternoon visit the mysterious pre-Inca tombs called Chullpas on the shores of Lake Umayo. Overnight in Puno.
DAY 17: PUNO / CUSCO WITH TOUR STOPS (B. L)
Very early breakfast. Around 07:00 hours, private transfer to the bus terminal (tourist bus with service on board) 04 tourist stops are made, making an additional stop for lunch. The route is as follows:
PUKARA: It constitutes the most important and ancient ceremonial center of the altiplano prior to Tiahuanaco; It is detailed by a series of stepped platforms that resemble a pyramid called the Kalasasaya, culminating in a flat ceremonial center.
LA RAYA: Midpoint on the Cusco - Puno route, it is the highest part of the entire route, it is located at a height of 4335 meters above sea level. In this place we will be able to appreciate beautiful snow-capped mountains, beautiful inter-Andean landscapes, the source of the Amazon river, llamas, alpacas and vicuñas.
RAQCHI: Archaeological Complex: 117 km from the city of Cusco. Raqchi (3485 m.s.n.m.) is a small village of farmers and potters in which a group of families has adapted their homes to receive tourists in a new experiential tourism program.
ANDAHUAYLILLAS: In this area we visit the San Pedro de Andahuaylillas church, which is the main attraction for visitors, due to the quality of its works of art, it is like the "Sistine Chapel" of America. Arrival in Cusco and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Cusco.
DAY 18: CUSCO WALKING CITY TOUR (B)
Breakfast, then we will start our tour of the Historic Center of the Inca Empire. We will visit the traditional neighborhood of San Blas, and the stone of the 12 angles, this is a stone embedded in an Inca mural. We will take a walk through some narrow and cobbled streets and its large white houses that house numerous workshops and shops of renowned popular artists.
Visit the city declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. The tour will start at the temple of Koricancha, an ancient Inca palace where the order of the Dominicans built an incredible church that can still be seen there. Then visit the Main Square, where the Cathedral, whose first stone was placed in work in the year 1560. Overnight in Cusco.
DAY 19: CUSCO - SACRED VALLEY - MACHU PICCHU TOWN (B, L)
Breakfast, then departure to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, visit the town of Pisac with its typical Indian market, where you can appreciate the ancestral customs of its inhabitants, using "barter" (exchange of products ) for marketing. (only on Sundays mass is celebrated in Quechua, the native language). Buffet lunch in the Valley.
Afterwards, you will get to Ollantaytambo, one of the most monumental architectural complexes of the ancient Inca Empire, one of the few places where the spanish conquerors lost a major battle. Very well known for its “andenes” (terraces dug into the slopes of mountains for agricultural purposes), Ollantaytambo was a highly effective fortress, also served as a temple. Then, you continue Ollantaytambo, “the unique living Inca town”: the best surviving example of Inca city planning.

DAY 20: MACHU PICCHU - CUSCO (B)
After breakfast, transfer to the bus station, to ascend 400 meters high, on a zigzagging road, for 20 minutes, until we reach the incredible world wonder "The Sanctuary of Machu Picchu", known as "The Lost City of the Incas". Upon arrival at the citadel of Machu Picchu we will visit the main square, the circular tower, the sacred solar clock, the royal rooms, the temple of the three windows and the cemeteries.
From the beginning the panorama that surrounds Machu Picchu (old mountain) is already amazing, the sensation of seeing the wonder of the world through photos or video is very different from the sensation of being in the same place.
At the appointed time, you will return to Aguas Calientes to have lunch (by your own) then you have to go by your own to the train station to take your train ride back to Ollantaytambo / Cusco city to be transferred to the hotel. Overnight in Cusco.
DAY 21: CUSCO / PUERTO MALDONADO (B, L, D)
After breakfast, transfer to Cusco´s airport to Pto. Maldonado, reception at the airport, transfer to the office and to the port to board a canoe with an outboard motor and go up the Tambopata River. Depending on the time, we will have a quick snack (Box-Lunch type) in the boat or upon arrival at the lodge. Along the way, we will be able to observe alligators, turtles, water birds. There we will find ourselves submerged in the pristine rain forest, surrounded by its sounds. After a short break we will start a short walk to a small lagoon, then we will continue in time to the Sunset Point to observe an unforgettable sunset in the jungle. Once at the lodge, we will board the canoe again at dusk, to search for and observe alligators with the help of flashlights. Overnight in the Logde.
DAY 22: TAMBOPATA RESERVE ZONE (B, L, D)
After a very early breakfast, we will start a 5 1/2 km walk to the Cocococha lagoon, guided by one of our Naturalist Residents. Along the way we will see exotic plants and insects, butterflies and multicolored birds, monkeys and, with any luck, perhaps also some of the larger mammals. In the lagoon, we will have canoes at our disposal to undertake a short tour of the surroundings and observe the giant river otters and the wild flora and fauna on its banks.We will return to EI for lunch perhaps a little late and we will have the afternoon free to rest or enjoy independently of any activity. We will have dinner. Overnight in the jungle.
DAY 23: TAMBOPATA ZONE RESERVE / LIMA (B)
We will be awakened and we will have breakfast very early to embark in the canoe and start our journey back to Puerto Maldonado. Along the way, we will delight in an unforgettable jungle sunrise on the Tambopata river. In Puerto Maldonado, we will be transferred to the airport to take the flight back to Lima for its subsequent international connection. (We recomend to take your international flight at night or the next day)
